Sixth entry: Postgraduates Studies

What motivates me the most to do a PhD after graduating from Theory and History of Art, is that with only having my degree it will be difficult to find a job, being most likely that I will end up working in something that doesn't require university studies and isn't related to my career. As I had mentioned in a previous entry, I don't really dream of working nor is it something that excites me but living without having to work it's not something I can afford, so doing a postgraduate degree in restoration is something convenient, I could work inside some museum or patrimonial building in silence and peace, which is the closest thing to an ideal job for me.

I honestly don't know when I would do it because it's not something that interests me too much even though I have thought about it and looked into the postgraduate courses offered by our university, it would be better to do it as soon as I finish my degree to to keep up with the rhythm of study, but on the other hand I think that waiting one or two years to work and save money would be more convenient. The main issue is money, the postgraduate degree in restoration is expensive. Maybe there are scholarships that will allow me to pay for this postgraduate degree but it's not something that I have researched in depth.

Whether or not to do a postgraduate course at this or another university is something I will think about more seriously in the future, right now I'm just focused on finishing this semester haha.

PS: Thank you so much for your comments on the previous entry, I just saw them today <3.

Still the best restoration work in the world.

Every time I think of the future I remember this song.
